Journal of Rafidain Environment (JRE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the College of Environmental Sciences – University of Mosul. It holds an international electronic ISSN (2957-6601) and is dedicated to publishing high-quality original research in the fields of environmental science and technology. The journal focuses on contemporary environmental issues, including sustainable policies and technologies.
JRE aims to advance academic knowledge and foster scientific research by providing a reputable platform for the exchange of expertise among researchers and specialists from around the world. This contributes to enriching scientific production and promoting regional and international research collaboration.
Scope of the Journal includes theoretical and applied research in various areas of environmental science, as well as related disciplines such as: environmental biology, environmental chemistry, environmental geochemistry, environmental engineering and pollution control, and the environmental dimensions of petroleum and mining engineering.
The journal is published semi-annually and employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure objective and high-quality evaluations. Submissions must be original and written in either Arabic or English, and all manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using Turnitin.
JRE follows an open-access policy, allowing all published articles to be freely read and downloaded without restrictions. Authors retain full intellectual property rights to their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute under open access terms.
The editorial board adheres to the highest academic and ethical standards, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure research integrity and scholarly excellence.
