The skills needed for special education teachers in the schools of the center of Dohuk governorate from their point of view and their relationship with some variables
Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify the necessary competencies for special education teachers in schools in the Dohuk Governorate Center from their point of view and their relationship to some variables and the significance of the differences in that according to demographic variables (academic qualification, gender, years of experience). The researcher relied on the descriptive approach to achieve the research objectives and the research community consisted of (109) male and female teachers in Eastern and Western education in the center of Dohuk Governorate. A sample of (52) male and female teachers was selected randomly. A questionnaire consisting of (30) items with alternatives (always, sometimes, rarely) was prepared, and the validity and reliability of the instrument were verified. To extract the results of the research, the following statistical methods were used: Fishers coefficient to find the severity of the item, the T-test for one sample, and the T-test for two independent samples (Independent Sample T.Test) to show the differences according to: the gender variable, the differences according to the job variable, years of experience.
In light of the research results, a number of necessary conclusions, recommendations and proposals were communicated to the relevant authorities regarding the research topic.
