Ibn Asfour's (d.669 AH) Criticism of Al-Zajjaji (d.337 AH) Book (Sharh al-Jumal as a Model)

The purpose of this research is to clarify Ibn Asfour's position on Al-Zajjaji in his book (Sharh al-Jumal) and Ibn Asfour's position on Al-Jumal. It also examines the most important statements attributed to Ibn Asfour, his position on the grammatical issues in Al-Jumal, his style of response, the organization and arrangement of the chapters of his book, and the grammatical approach adopted by Ibn Asfour, which is evident from his commentary on Al-Jumal, in which he agreed on many issues and disagreed on others.
