Egyptian Correspondence to the Countries of the Ancient Near East The Leeters of Amarna as a Case Study

The research sheds light on the foreign relations of the Pharaohs of Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty (1575-1308 BC), specifically the period of the accession of the two pharaohs Amenhotep (III) and Amenhotep (IV) (Akhenaten) to the Egyptian throne, dating from the year 1405 BC until the year 1350 BC. They sent a group of letters with diplomatic, political and military implications to the countries of the ancient Near East, such as Babylon.
